A Trip to Kuiper's Farm

Last year when we made our annual trip to Kuiper's farm I was VERY pregnant and this year we have a little girl that is about to turn 1...what a difference a year makes! We chose this unseasonably beautiful fall day to take Grace on her first trip to Kuiper's Farm. We knew it would be crowded so we planned it that we got there shortly after it opened and that plan worked out fabulous! We didn't have to stand in any lines and we got right on our wagon ride. I made Bryan stand at the place where we usually stand in long lines just so I could take a quick picture.

We picked a lot of delicious apples and Gracie enjoyed some of her own...boy did this girl love eating those apples! We set her down on the ground and she contently sat and ate her apple while looking around. She didn't utter a peep except for every now and then saying, "Mmmm."

After picking apples we headed into the Kuiper Farm store to get their famous apple cider donuts. It is usually an absolute zoo in there, but we grabbed our donuts and were out in no time. These yummy donuts will be making an appearance at Grace's birthday party :) On our way back to our car we stood Grace next to the Apple to see how tall she is (Gracie is still holding her own apple). This will be a fun place to take a picture of how much she has grown each year.

We had a great time as a family today! Now on to making some homemade apple pie and apple bread. Yum!
