Family Friday

This summer Bryan is able to have 4 day work weeks so yesterday we took advantage of the nice weather and his time off and made a trip to downtown Plainfield. Even though we have lived here for 3 years we haven't really taken advantage of our towns downtown area. It actually has a nice park and playground for kids and a fun sprinkler park, which Grace is too little to try now but maybe next summer! We walked around for a bit and then decided to have lunch at Front Street. They have an outdoor patio area so we found a place in the shade and while Bryan and I had lunch Grace enjoyed some snacks of her own. We then went to the park and laid out a blanket and let Grace play for a bit. We stayed away from the playground because it was very crowded. We had a great family day and were home in time for Grace's afternoon nap.
