He greets me with this big smile every morning. Seriously, how can one be so happy to be up in the morning? But regardless it is one of my favorite moments of the day, especially now that I am back to work and not seeing my babies as often. Jake has proved to us this past month that he is quite the eater! He is literally a garbage disposal who will eat anything and everything at anytime of the day. He LOVES mealtime!
For the most part Jake is eating what we eat with some exceptions. One of his favorite meals is spaghetti (as you can see from the picture) but he also loves the homemade Mac n' Cheeze I make. Rosa has introduced Jake to some meat this past month and he seems to like it. He also likes all the other new foods he has tried this past month; waffles, grapes, cantaloupe, oatmeal, and raisins.
Jake now has 3 teeth with 3 more coming through on top! Does this explain his excessive crabbiness since June?? Ugh. His babbling has started to turn into words. Jake can now say Mama and Dada! Jake can get up on all fours but then falls back to his belly. You can tell that he wants to crawl so bad! Soon enough little man :) For now he likes to play sitting up or on his belly and of course is interested in everything that his big sister is doing. Jake also loves to be outside and acts somewhat like a puppy when I open the door. He still enjoys going for walks a lot. Happy 8 Months Little Buddy!
